Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)

Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)

Created with the aim of providing greater efficiency and predictability for cargo in international trade flows, the AEO Program consists of the Federal Revenue Service’s recognition of operators in the international logistics chain who demonstrate the ability to manage risks related to the physical security of cargo and tax and customs compliance. There are three types of AEO, each with its own requirements, criteria, and benefits related to customs procedures, both domestically and abroad.

How can Corintos help with AEO certification?

In addition to specialized consulting that will assist your company at every stage of the process, Corintos’ Integrated Customs Management System fully meets the Admissibility Requirements of the Federal Revenue Service’s program and will therefore be your primary tool in obtaining AEO certification.

Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status is also granted to other parties involved in foreign trade operations related to the international movement of goods, such as exporters, port or airport operators, carriers, and others.
